With our head office in Ashburton, we have regional branches across the South Island and a growing presence in the North Island.

The Opportunity

We’re excited to welcome a Junior Sales Agronomist to our North Canterbury team, based out of our Christchurch office. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll manage existing clients, nurture long-term relationships, and ensure their satisfaction. While the focus is on enhancing current partnerships, you’ll also have opportunities to develop new business.

About the Role

We’re looking for a hardworking, self-motivated individual to join our team and provide tailored agronomic advice. From handshake to harvest, you’ll be the trusted partner ensuring our clients' success. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to be included in our Junior Agronomy Programme, designed to support your growth and professional development, with structured learning, mentoring, and hands-on experience.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is passionate about agriculture, highly respected in their community, and eager to develop their career in agronomy. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A Bachelor of Agricultural Science or a similar qualification (preferred, but not essential)
  • Experience or exposure within the agriculture sector
  • Strong skills in building and maintaining client relationships
  • A focus on client satisfaction with a proactive approach to delivering results
  • The ability to work independently, with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and computer literacy
