The Opportunity

We’re excited to welcome an Agronomist to our Mid-Canterbury team. This is a new role, created to support our growth within the region. Reporting to the Canterbury Regional Manager, you will work closely with clients, using your agronomic knowledge to develop tailored strategies that deliver outstanding results. From crop management and disease control to soil health and sustainability, your expertise will play a vital role in the success of your clients' farms.

About the Role

We’re looking for a hardworking, self-motivated individual to join our team and provide hands-on, tailored agronomic advice. This role will involve building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and guiding them through the complexities of crop management and sustainable farming practices. You will directly contribute to optimising crop productivity and overall farm success, with a primary focus on clients within the Canterbury region.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone passionate about agriculture and building lasting client relationships. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A Bachelor of Agricultural Science or similar qualification (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in agronomy, with a successful track record
  • Strong skills in crop management, disease control, and sustainability practices
  • A focus on client satisfaction with a proactive approach to delivering results
  • The ability to work independently, with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and computer literacy
