What you’ll be doing:
• Managing Strategy: Oversee forecasting, procurement, and product pricing to ensure stock levels and pricing are in line with market demands.
• Building Relationships: Collaborate with suppliers and the sales team to optimise product offerings and drive profitability.
• Leading Operations: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations for the fertiliser category, adhering to company standards and customer expectations.
• Providing Leadership: Support and guide your team to ensure they meet performance objectives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for:
• Proven experience in strategic planning, supplier negotiations, and category management
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
• A solutions-focused approach, with a high level of initiative and attention to detail
• Agronomic or technical expertise related to the fertiliser industry is a bonus
