The Opportunity: We are on the lookout for experienced Agronomists to join our team across three regions — Central Otago, North Canterbury, Mid/South Canterbury, Manawatu, Rangatikei and Hawke's Bay Area. Reporting to your respective Regional Manager, you will lead the way in optimising crop productivity and sustainability. As an established Senior Agronomist, you will work closely with clients, utilising your deep agronomic knowledge to develop tailored strategies that deliver outstanding results. From crop management and disease control to soil health and sustainability, your expertise will drive the success of your client's farms.

Guide farmers on a journey from seed to harvest. Our hands-on approach tailors every detail for optimal results, recognizing that each paddock is unique.

The Ideal Candidate: You're a dynamic problem solver, with meticulous attention to detail. A proven leader that displays innovation, you excel under pressure. You have excellent interpersonal skills and are a respected figure in the community with substantial technical expertise. You're a tertiary graduate with 3+ years in agronomy, a track record of guiding teams, and an ability to build lasting client relationships.

What We're Looking For: We're seeking someone passionate about agriculture and building lasting client relationships. Ideally, you'll have:

  • A Bachelor of Agricultural Science or similar qualification (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in agronomy, with a successful track record
  • Strong skills in crop management, disease control, and sustainability practices
  • A focus on client satisfaction with a proactive approach to delivering results
  • The ability to work independently, with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and computer literacy
